Mercury is sitting at 29 degrees of your sign today, which is the last gasp before it crosses into Scorpio. That degree has a quality of urgency to it, a feeling that something needs to be said or decided before the moment closes. There is probably a conversation you have been shaping in your head for a while, getting the wording right, trying to find the version that offends nobody. Today will push you toward actually having it. The problem is that Mercury is squaring Mars, which means the conversation is going to have more friction than you rehearsed for. The other person is not going to receive it as smoothly as you imagined. You should pull back. It means the polished version was probably a way of avoiding the direct one. Mars trine Neptune takes some of the edge off the day's heat. The action you take does not have to be aggressive to carry. Quiet and direct will carry further than you expect. --- Hmm, "You should pull back" is wrong — that reverses the meaning.
