Gemini — Friday 2 October 2026

Mars in Leo is squaring Mercury hard today, less than half a degree, and that is about as close as aspects get. Before the morning is properly underway you'll find yourself in something that wants to become an argument. Not necessarily because anyone is wrong, more because Mercury in Scorpio has run out of patience with the diplomatic version and Mars in Leo cannot tolerate being managed. The combination is sharp and fast and will feel personal even when it isn't. The useful thing is that Mars is also trining Neptune almost exactly, which gives the friction somewhere to go. If you can resist the urge to win the first exchange, something genuinely honest might come out of the conversation instead. Scorpio Mercury actually wants the real version. Let it have one. The opposition between Mars and Pluto is still sitting underneath all of this, which means whatever surfaces today has been building quietly for a while. This is not a small thing dressed as a Tuesday row. Treat it accordingly. The October monthly reading is there if you want to see what this is actually building toward.
