Capricorn — Sunday 4 October 2026

Saturn in Aries is sitting in tight opposition to the Sun today, and for Capricorn that tension has a very particular quality. Aries pushes forward without looking back; Capricorn calculates before it commits. The opposition between them means something you thought was settled is being challenged again, probably by someone who wants an answer you are not ready to give, or a commitment you cannot yet see the full shape of. The pressure to decide quickly is real but it is not the same as the pressure being right. Hold your ground. The Sun is in Libra, which softens none of this but does mean the conflict is likely relational rather than organizational. Someone needs something from you, and their need is arriving at an inconvenient moment. Mars in Leo is squaring both Mercury and Pluto today, which means conversations will have more charge in them than the subject matter seems to warrant. If something flares up this afternoon, the actual argument will be about something underneath the stated one. Know that before it starts.
