Aquarius — Thursday 1 October 2026

Mercury crossed into Scorpio yesterday and it is going to feel different today. Scorpio does not hold things lightly, and Mercury there starts to treat every position as a matter of principle. The square to Mars in Leo is still tight, which means the principle you have identified will also feel urgent, and Leo wants an audience for urgency. You are going to find yourself explaining something to someone today with rather more conviction than the conversation asked for. The thing you are saying might be completely right. The problem is that Mercury in Scorpio cannot do provisional. It will sound like you have found the bottom of the matter, when actually you have found the bottom of your current version of it. Mars in Leo is simultaneously in opposition to Pluto sitting in your sign, so whatever you push against today is likely to push back with more weight than expected. Matching force for force will not move this. If you want the fuller picture for the whole month, your October reading is there when you need it.
