Pisces — September 2026

Monthly forecast

water sign
September starts the way most of Pisces' Septembers start: with a vague feeling that this month will be different, a half-drunk cup of herbal tea going cold on the counter, and at least one surface in the flat that you've decided not to look at directly. *Saturn* is grinding through *Aries* at the moment, which for Pisces activates the second house of money, possessions, and material reality. Saturn in that position is about as gentle as a landlord who's noticed the state of the grouting. It wants you to deal with things. Specifically, it wants you to deal with the things you have been aesthetically rearranging rather than actually fixing. The *New Moon* on 11 September falls in *Virgo*, sitting exactly opposite your sign and lighting up your seventh house of partnerships. Virgo new moons demand precision. They want you to look clearly at your closest relationships and ask what's actually working. You will do this with great emotional depth and zero practical follow-through, draft a message you never send, and instead reorganise your bookshelf by colour, which counts as processing. *Jupiter* is in *Leo* this month, moving through your sixth house of daily routines, work, and health. Jupiter expands whatever it touches, which is lovely in theory. In the sixth house it tends to expand your awareness of how exhausting daily life is. You will notice this particularly at work, where you will do a great deal of meaningful emotional labour for colleagues who will not notice, and then feel quietly martyred about it while making yourself a very elaborate lunch that you photograph and do not eat. *Mars* shifts from *Cancer* into *Leo* during September, which lights a small but definite fire under your work situation. Something that has been moving at the pace of a very sad glacier will suddenly want to accelerate. The trouble is that Mars in Leo prefers momentum to accuracy, so if you've been quietly fantasising about a dramatic career pivot, this is the month you'll start treating the fantasy as a plan. These are different things. *Venus* moves from *Libra* into *Scorpio* as the month progresses, deepening everything in the romance department. If you're in a relationship, you'll want more intensity, more closeness, more proof of the thing. You will not ask for these directly because that would require stating a preference, and stating a preference means it could be refused, and refusal would mean you would have to feel something specific rather than something atmospheric. So instead you'll be extremely meaningful at someone and hope they translate it correctly, like a person who leaves a poem on the fridge instead of saying "I miss you." The *Full Moon* on 27 September in *Aries* falls in your second house, the one Saturn has already been reorganising. Full moons in that house have a way of bringing financial reality into focus with the sort of clarity you didn't ask for. You'll look at your bank account around this time. You'll remember the thing you bought in a moment of spiritual necessity. You'll calculate what you actually need versus what you have. I'd tell you to do this before the 27th, but we both know you won't. Here is the observation that will make you feel surveilled. The washing up in your flat is not abandoned because you're lazy. You're not lazy. You're someone who starts things with enormous feeling and then, at roughly the point where the task stops being interesting, experiences a philosophical loss of faith in the task's importance. The dishes are in a moral coma. You believe in them in principle but cannot currently access the belief. You will have a better month than this reading suggests, because you almost always do. Something will move you unexpectedly. Someone will say something that reorders the whole picture. You carry more warmth than almost anyone around you, and the people who know you well are aware of this even when you're being impossible. It would just be nice if you'd occasionally rinse the pan.
