Pisces — April 2026
Monthly forecast
water signThe Full Moon in Libra on the 2nd lights up your eighth house, which is the house of shared resources, other people's money, and the psychological debris you haven't dealt with since approximately 2019. Something comes to a head. Probably financial, possibly emotional, almost certainly both at once, because that's how you like it — two crises for the price of one, romantically entangled so you can't tell which one you're actually crying about.
Here's the shape of this month: Mercury is finishing its time in *Pisces* before crossing into *Aries*, and it's dragging your thoughts with it. You've been swimming in feeling for weeks — half-formed ideas, deeply meaningful dreams you definitely need to tell someone about right now, the conviction that you understand something important but can't quite articulate it. Mercury moving into Aries around mid-month snaps the spell. Suddenly thoughts have edges. This will feel violent. You will adapt. Probably by immediately developing a new and better feeling to get lost in.
*Mars* is doing the same journey, *Pisces* into *Aries*, and it's activating your second house on its way out and your first on its way in. The practical upshot: money is leaving, possibly via an impulsive purchase you'll describe as "self-care" but is actually just a Dutch oven you don't need. The Dutch oven will be expensive, and beautiful, and it will live on your hob for three weeks while you eat cereal and tell yourself you're going to use it on Sunday.
## Love and relationships
*Venus* is in *Taurus* this month — your third house, the house of communication and local movement — before shifting into *Gemini* near the end of April. What this means for you romantically: you are at your most attractive when you're talking, and you know it, and you're using it. There is someone, or there is the idea of someone, and you are writing them messages that are quite extraordinary — tender and particular and the literary equivalent of a hand extended in low light. The problem is the gap between the message and the follow-through. You will write something that makes them feel completely seen, and then you will cancel the plans you made, citing a feeling of overwhelm that is genuine but also conveniently timed. People don't leave you because you're too much. They leave because you keep disappearing right at the moment you become real.
## Work and the domestic situation
*Jupiter* in *Cancer* is sitting warmly in your fifth house — creativity, joy, the things you do for the love of it — and it is genuinely good news that you are mostly ignoring. *Saturn* in *Aries* is grinding through your second house, asking hard questions about income and worth and whether your relationship with money is a strategy or just a personality trait you've never examined. The answer, in April, is the latter.
The thing I need you to hear: your flat has a smell. Not a bad smell, necessarily — a *specific* smell, the smell of a person who soaks things and then forgets about them. There is a pan. There has been a pan for days. You keep adding water to it as though time and intention are the same thing.
*Uranus* crossing into *Gemini* at the end of the month jolts your fourth house — home, foundations, the private self — and something shifts. A decision gets made, or forced, or finally admitted.
You feel everything more than most people, and you carry it better than you let on. That's not nothing. It's quite a lot, actually. But the pan, Pisces. The pan.
