Leo — September 2026

Monthly forecast

fire sign
September arrives with *Jupiter* sitting fat and pleased in your first house, and you are absolutely ready to receive that energy. Too ready, if anything. The problem with *Jupiter* in Leo is that it doesn't teach you things so much as confirm what you already suspected, which is that you are correct, you are magnificent, and the reason that conversation hasn't happened yet is because the other person needs to get their act together first. They don't. You know they don't. Some part of you, buried under several layers of performance, knows this perfectly well. *Mars* is crawling through Cancer for most of the month, which sits in your twelfth house. The twelfth house is the house of hidden things, undoing, and everything you'd rather not look at before bed. *Mars* here doesn't make you aggressive outwardly. It makes you aggressive inwardly, in ways you refuse to name. You'll feel irritable without being able to explain why. You'll pick at small things because the large thing is too much effort to pick at. You'll blame the small things and let the large thing go unaddressed for another thirty days, by which point it will have developed its own furniture and a lease agreement. *Mars* moves into Leo around the final week, and you'll feel the shift. Suddenly you're energised, motivated, and absolutely certain you're ready to act. What you'll actually do is redecorate the outside of the problem rather than go inside it. In relationships, the conversation you're avoiding probably involves your own needs, stated plainly, without performance. Not your preferences, not your vision, not what you've decided would be ideal. Your actual needs, expressed with the vulnerability of someone who doesn't already know the answer. Leos are phenomenal at intimacy when it's going well. When it requires admission of uncertainty, the drawbridge goes up and you start talking about how much you've given, which is a neat trick for making a conversation about your needs into a conversation about your virtues. *Venus* moves from Libra into Scorpio mid-month, shifting from your third house into your fourth. This is the universe gently suggesting that what you want to say out loud might matter less than what you're feeling at home, in private, in the rooms no one else gets to see. If you're partnered, pay attention to what happens in quiet moments rather than public ones. If you're not, the same rule applies to your relationship with yourself. The *new moon* on 11 September falls in Virgo, in your second house of money and worth. This is a good time to start something practical, and a terrible time to spend money on something that makes you look prosperous without making you be prosperous. You know the difference. You'll buy it anyway. The *full moon* on 27 September is in Aries, lighting up your ninth house. Something clarifies. An idea you've been sitting on, a direction you've been dithering about, a belief you've been defending without examining. You'll either see it freshly or dig in completely. Statistically, given that *Saturn* and *Neptune* are both in Aries, and both pressing on that house simultaneously, the wiser Leos will do the former and the majority will do the latter. Now. The thing that will make you put your phone face-down. Somewhere in the last six months, someone said something kind to you that you needed to hear, and you received it graciously and thanked them warmly and stored it away as evidence that you were right about yourself all along, which completely missed what they were actually offering you. They weren't confirming your opinion of yourself. They were seeing something in you that you hadn't claimed yet. You turned a gift into a receipt. There is something new in you this September that *Jupiter* wants you to grow into. The version of you that knows, quietly and without announcement, that you're enough. You'll get there. Probably loudly, probably at the wrong moment, but you'll get there.
