Capricorn

Capricorn — September 2026

Monthly forecast

earth sign
September has decided to audit you, and you haven't kept the receipts. *Virgo* season bleeds through most of this month before the *Sun* shifts into *Libra* around the 22nd, and the whole thing is sitting in your ninth house of belief, philosophy, and the story you tell yourself about yourself. That story, if I had to summarise it, is that you are serious, disciplined, and above the nonsense of lesser mortals. September is going to spend thirty days poking at that story with a stick. The *New Moon* in *Virgo* on the 11th falls in your ninth house, which means the reset being offered to you is intellectual. A chance to revise your position. To admit you might have been approaching something with the wrong map. Whether you take it depends on how attached you are to being right, which, for Capricorn, is roughly as attached as a barnacle to a ship's hull. *Mercury* is also moving through *Virgo* and then *Libra*, and it is not retrograde, which is good news for communication and bad news for your excuses. Everything you've been meaning to say can now be said clearly. The question is whether you'll say it or continue to imply it passive-aggressively from across the room and then feel aggrieved when nobody acts on it. In your professional life, *Saturn* in *Aries* is squaring your *Sun* sign all month, which is a transit that has the energy of a structural survey on a house you thought was fine. Things that have been wobbling get measured. *Saturn* is in your fourth house, which is home, roots, security, the private architecture of your life. You are probably pretending this is all about practicalities. It isn't. There's something about what you're building your ambitions *on top of* that needs examining, and you'd rather build the next floor than fix the foundations. This will, historically speaking, not end well. *Jupiter* in *Leo* is generous and loud in your eighth house, which rules shared resources, other people's money, and the murky business of what you actually owe people. There may be a financial opportunity this month that looks very good on a spreadsheet. It probably is good. You'll still stall on it, because Capricorns don't make financial decisions quickly unless they do, in which case they make them catastrophically fast and refuse to discuss it. In love, *Venus* moves from *Libra* into *Scorpio* mid-month, crossing through your tenth and eleventh houses. What this tends to produce in you is a particular behaviour that nobody in your life has named yet, so I will. You become very generous with your time and attention, and then, quietly, you start keeping score. You won't say you're keeping score. You'll present as someone who is simply organised about reciprocity. The people who love you know the difference. The ones who are falling for you don't yet, and September is the month they'll start to sense it. The *Full Moon* in *Aries* on the 27th lights up your fourth house again, and with *Neptune* also in *Aries* and fuzzy around the edges, something at home or in your closest relationships is going to feel more emotionally chaotic than your plans accounted for. You made a plan that was structurally perfect and emotionally hollow. Someone who loves you is about to point this out, and you are going to take it extremely badly before eventually conceding they were right, around about November. *Uranus* in *Gemini* is in your sixth house, rattling your routines, your health habits, and your daily life. The disruption is minor but persistent, like a drawer that no longer quite closes. You will find this maddening. That is the point. You are better than you're currently performing. September knows it, and so do you.
